Highlight of Duties:

• Assists the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Nursing Department.
• Oversee the MDS process to ensure that MDS, Assessments, Care Plans, and Billing Information are completed timely.
• Supervision of MDS/Care Plan and Restorative Nursing personnel .
• Provides direct support and coordination of the short-term residents during short-term stays.
• Direct Supervision of Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
• Several years of experience in nursing administration or supervisory capacity.
• Prior experience in long term care/geriatrics.
• Knowledge of state and federal LTC and nursing standards.
• Proof of completion of Covid -19 Vaccination Series required.
