About This Role:
This leadership position oversees the marketing unit at K-State Global Campus. This position works to effectively market and promote K-State Global Campus credit and noncredit programs, contributing to enrollment growth and a positive return on marketing investment. Extensive knowledge of the various marketing media mixes and promotional strategies is required.
The position is responsible for supervision of the marketing unit staff.
The director of marketing serves as a member of the K-State Global Campus leadership team and other committees within K-State Global Campus and Kansas State University as requested. This position reports to the executive director of strategic growth and analysis.

Work location: This is a remote position with Global Campus. Employees are expected to maintain a home office or other approved location (in accordance with university policy) from which they would work. Global Campus operates on Central time.

What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Five to ten years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in marketing or closely related field
Ten years experience in marketing and promotion planning
Experience in higher education
Supervisory experience with a proven record of successfully leading team members to achieve established goals
Experience in media buying, marketing campaigns, web development for marketing purposes and strategic marketing planning
Experience in promotional planning and media campaign management
Financial budgeting and budget management experience
Entrepreneurial skills
Demonstrated ability to successfully research, plan and evaluate organizational initiatives
Demonstrated creative problem solving and innovative thinking skills
Ability to evaluate processes and maximize resources for greatest efficiency and productivity
Ability to communicate insights and relevant research findings and to implement strategy based on these findings
