Job Summary:

The Director of Innovation for Real Estate Technology will work with the Chief Innovation Officer on the creation & commercialization of a new line of business for the Camillo Companies. The opportunity lives at the intersection of technology and residential real estate. We will be launching new real estate products from scratch, so we are seeking rigorously analytical individuals who have taken products to market, designed processes, built channels and teams and operated those businesses profitability.

In this highly visible role, you will be helping drive new product launch activities, from first customer through ongoing business growth. We are innovating in an existing market space, so we are looking for individuals who can understand the status quo, question it analytically and build new approaches that leverage technology to dramatically improve the outcomes for customers, team members and the financial results.

This position is in Texas (Houston, Dallas Fort-Worth, San Antonio or Austin) and is designed to be remote and hybrid. Camillo Companies have offices in each market and the role includes visiting each market as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Act as the general manager for the new business, ensuring the entire customer value chain is ready for launch through rigorous planning and testing
  • Track and report progress on the business, proactively take actions to further enhance the offering
  • Hands on collaboration and team building across the organization to deliver results, foster collaboration and make high quality business recommendations.
  • Build a high-performance organization

Education and Experience:

  • Professional experience in management consulting finance, engineering, product strategy or revenue management, or as a start up founder with a successful exit.
  • Passion for real estate and doing good while doing well.
  • Extremely high capabilities in Excel, and with data analysis
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • A passionate team builder, looking to create win-win opportunities
  • Empathy and active listening skills are a must
