Director of Franchise Operations - Dallas, TX Job at The Joint Chiropractic
Role and Responsibility:
The Director of Franchise Operations supports the Vice President of Franchise Operations while leading a team of Franchise Business Consultants. Together this team supports Franchisees within their respective markets while maintaining a consistent patient experience and operational compliance. This includes ensuring franchisees are following The Joint operating system, coaching franchisees to maximize their return on investment, assisting franchisees with operational guidance, and mentoring all aspects of training and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and direction to Franchise Business Consultants (FBCs) and Regional Operations Managers in the oversight of franchise clinic revenues, standards, profitability, and operational performance
- Assist FBC’s in the development and execution of their professional development plans.
- Supports initiatives to build the effectiveness of franchise operations by communicating and reinforcing the brand strategy, purpose, and objectives and translating these into actionable business plans for the franchise operators.
- Develops trust, credibility, and effective and collaborative relationships with the franchise community as a valued contributor to the Brand's success.
- Ensures system alignment and growth through the implementation and execution of system initiatives and business growth opportunities by assisting Franchisees and their senior operations leaders.
- Ensures franchisees are evaluated with consistency, fairness, and accuracy complying with The Joint guidelines and operations standards
- Directs and verifies franchisee compliance with franchise agreements, trademarks, brand standards, and performance requirements.
- Ensures staffing levels are maintained with talented and experienced Franchise Business Consultants.
- Identifies key issues that may affect the Company’s image or plans, alerts Senior Leadership and the Legal Department of emerging issues and potential impacts to the brand.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business or Finance. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in a lead operations role of a multi-unit concept that includes both Company and Franchise operated units
- Full P&L responsibility for multi-unit operation with annual sales more than $200MM
- Demonstrated and successful ability to lead, motivate, hold accountable, and positively influence franchise partners to achieve targeted financial and operational results.
- Demonstrates professionalism enabling successful interaction with franchise operators.
- Strong financial acumen, analysis/problem solving, negotiating, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work with senior leaders of varied functions to integrate their departments and responsibilities into the overall success of the Operations function.
- Possesses a high degree of drive with a proven track record of achieving results.
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
- Ability to travel approximately 50%-60% of the time to clinics and other business locations as business needs require.
