Director of Engineering/Field Support has a history of exceptional industry forecasting and successful budget management that can determine ways to increase company efficiency. You will regularly analyze company operations for problems, encourage staff to increase productivity, and provide support to managers when they have particular concerns about work processes, supplies, or staff. When necessary, you will also oversee employee hirings and terminations. As Director of Engineering/Field Support, your duties and responsibilities are to plan, implement, and oversee technical or engineering strategies, procedures, and goals for the organization. You are responsible for ensuring that the daily and long-term operations of the Operations and Engineering departments are smooth. You collaborate with other executives on the promotion of growth within the company, the development of innovative processes or project standards, and technical training for employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure business practices meet company goals and maximize efficiency
- Oversee compliance with relevant regulations and policies
- Facilitate leadership development within the company
- Make suggestions for process improvement
- Handle employee hiring or terminations
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Business or Operations Management; MBA preferred
- At least five years of industry experience with a proven track record of streamlining or improving company operations
- Human resources knowledge
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
