Under the direction of the Vice President of Commercial, the Commercial Director will be the primary point of reference and contact between dnata catering US and all assigned customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for tender processes A-Z including capturing in SalesForce
  • Primary receiving point for tender invites and distributing to respective teams
  • Responsible for evaluating whether dnata catering will participate within the tender process in conjunction with VP Commercial, CEO, COO, CFO, operational key staff of respective facility/entity
  • Responsible for communication with the customer during the tender process
  • Overseeing costing and pricing process
  • Responsible for change management process for customers together with pricing, data and costing department and the Commercial Account Managers
  • Reviewing customer PNL together with Pricing department and VP Commercial
  • Presenting and discussing, finalizing PNL with VP Commercial, CEO, CFO, operational key staff
  • Submit offers to customers
  • Run the approval process in SalesForce
  • Follow up with customer and internal sources on tender development
  • Organize customer visits and meal presentations
  • Responsible for recording all necessary commercial changes during meal presentation
  • Negotiate and finalize catering agreement in conjunction with VP Commercial, CEO, CFO, operational key staff
  • Keep timelines during tender processes and for all other time sensitive customer commercial topics
  • Being the link between the customer and executing facility/entity for all commercial affairs
  • Cultivate customer relationships before and after customers sign catering agreement
  • Discuss and develop all commercial issues during customer agreement terms, communicate and liaise with respective dnata facility/entity
  • Work closely with purchasing department to keep pricing matrixes up to date
  • Work closely with VP Commercial and CFO to meet company financial margins and goals
  • Work closely with account managers to make sure seamless communication flow between commercial and operation is guaranteed


DOE Compensation: $150,000 (annual)

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree in Business or equivalent; or 10 years work experience or educational background in food and foodservice industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Must be able to travel in continental US and International (If needed)
  • Intellectual/Social demands:
    While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
