The Director of College Bound Citizens is responsible for all aspects of the College Bound Citizens® program across the nation from strategy to implementation. This includes development of a refreshed strategy, working closely with Head of Student Lending, website/.com partners, and College Raptor to update current digital resources and enhance our value proposition messaging. The role will also require oversight of marketing messages, initial contact with potential partners and direct student engagement. The engagement process may encompass several different offerings across various points of distribution including high schools, community organizations, and a strong partnership with retail colleagues. A key aspect of this role will be responsible for helping to integrate the College Raptor offerings within the College Bound Citizens program and will report directly to the Head of Student Lending.
- Refreshes the College Bound Citizens strategy and works closely with website/.com teams to ensure the right experience and messaging
- Helps to drive digital sales through the College Bound Citizens site, and works closely with marketing partners on re-engagement messaging for those customers not ready for a student loan
- Works closely with Product and Marketing teams to execute on integrated strategy with College Raptor
- Leads the National efforts with College Bound Citizens distribution, by managing performance, coaching, mentoring, talent acquisition and career development of the CBC team
- Coordinates and attends activities relating to industry trade shows and other direct customer facing opportunities
- Works closely with the Consumer Bank to drive the awareness of College Bound Citizens through the retail branch network
- Ensures all administrative responsibilities are completed as outlined and on time, in the department procedures including updates to Salesforce.com, reports, expenses and strategy work
- Meets and exceeds engagement and presentation goals
Territory: National
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience, preferably in Product, Marketing and/or Sales Management; Student Lending or financial aid experience preferred
- Ability to coordinate and drive business strategy and development efforts with executive leaders
- Ability to inform, educate and influence to effectively set up proposed projects when working with cross-functional counterparts and internal colleagues
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive change and influence organizations
- Strong acumen for executional excellence, incorporating customer, sales, operations, risk, and financial impacts
- Analytical creativity and problem-solving skills, focusing on driving results that balance risk/reward
Education
- Bachelors Degree required
- Masters Degree a plus

- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: M-F
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is {$160,000 - $175,000}, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus (remove if not applicable). Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
