Overview:
One River School of Art and Design is seeking a Director of Art Education. The Director of Education at One River School is an Art Education subject matter expert who is responsible for driving the success of the school's educational experience: new teacher recruitment and management, student retention, student and outcome progress, and community engagement through exhibitions and events.

One River School of Art + Design was founded 10 years ago with a simple goal in mind: To build a community for Contemporary Art in the Suburbs through fun educational programs and partnerships with living Contemporary artists.
We provide the structure of a robust, inspirational and innovative curriculum to use, while allowing you to deliver the material with your own creative and expert touch.
The Director of Art Education is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of education for students and teachers at One River School. You will build and lead a team of arts educators to become the cultural backbone within the community. As the Director of Art Education you will combine your love of art education with your leadership skills.
Position Highlights:
- Develop Teaching Staff: Recruit, lead and manage part time educators and teaching artists staff to ensure exceptional educational experiences at the school
- Develop Students: Teach weekly classes in drawing and painting ensuring students reach their full potential as artists
- Member and Community Partner outreach: Foster relationships with members and outside groups ensuring that the art community is thriving and growing inside and outside the school. Including running gallery exhibitions
