POSITION SUMMARY: The Director, Engineering - ERP works strategically with stakeholders to align technology resources with business goals while directing themselves and others in the execution of technical strategy. He/she/they will be responsible for platform strategy, architecture, and development of ERP customizations, upgrades, or integrations.
RESPONSIBILITIES – Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job.

  • Work with VP, Technical Operations on strategic technical vision for the company, and work with cross functional stakeholders to achieve said vision.
  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture of the Company’s ERP customizations and integrations.
  • Develop fault tolerant, high-performance integrations with internal and third-party systems.
  • Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of enhancements to the Company’s ERP.
  • Understand the evolving security, compliance, and regulatory environments with key focus on ensuring we proactively eliminate vulnerabilities.
  • Effectively communicate to executives and business owners as well as system users.
  • Stay current on technology trends and new software solutions.
  • Seek formal and informal performance assessments, including performance versus expectations and goals, behaviors, and leadership potential.
  • Actively participate in required training and development programs and electives as suits one’s needs, and support colleagues, trainers, and management as appropriate with these efforts.
  • Promote the Company’s Mission and Values, including an accountable, innovative, and results-oriented culture that promotes customer service, openness, teamwork, mutual trust, and respect.

What You Need:

  • Experience and/or Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or finance strongly preferred. Eight (8) years of experience working with ERP systems in a technical capacity. Four (4) years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV in a technical capacity. A strong grasp of best practices as it relates to ERP enhancements and reporting. Experience working with/presenting to company executives.
