The Director, Community Relations increases visibility and awareness, develops relevant community and faith-based relationships and provides education and information about Carolina Caring programs and services.

This position is Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Full-time positions offer an excellent benefit package with paid time off and mileage reimbursement.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree, preferably in theology, social services, or related degree or other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Experience:

• A minimum of three to five years’ experience of engaging with diverse community stakeholders and/or experience with public speaking, community relations or health and human services.
• Work with faith and/or community-based organizations is preferred.
• Strong public relations experience demonstrated by successfully engaging stakeholders, including business partners, policy makers, media, and communities.
• Strong and proven ability to successfully build relevant community relationships

Carolina Caring is seeking a qualified individual to promote the development of relative community and faith-based relationships with identified entities that support Carolina Caring’s Community Relations Strategic Business Plan.
