VetsEZ is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Salesforce Practice for a 100% remote position. As the Director, you will work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and technology leaders to design and implement cutting-edge technology solutions that align with our digital transformation strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with large Federal IT programs, developing and implementing customized Salesforce solutions, and a proven track record of building strong customer relationships.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical point of contact for the organization, providing guidance and support as needed regarding Salesforce integrations.
• Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements.
• Collaborate with a Salesforce Analysts, Developers, and Engineers team to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs.
• Understand business drivers and assist in defining required features and mapping Salesforce features to business processes.
• Assist the business in understanding the effort, risk, and effect of making changes to a Salesforce instance.
• Produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements.
• Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign with Business and IT Product Owners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience. Preferred degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex integration solutions, such as APIs, and Data integration layers (Batch & Real-Time)
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including agile methodologies and design patterns.
• Experience managing design, implementation, and architecture governance in a highly dynamic environment.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Additional Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in partnering/consulting with executive leadership teams.
• Experience participating in the growth and development of Salesforce practice and service offerings.
• Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal agencies.
• Ability to obtain clearance.
