The Direct Support Professional supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based group living environment. Direct Support Professionals are advocates for people served, helping individuals realize their dreams and ascend to new heights through the development of community networks and maximizing individual strengths.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meal preparation
- Support individuals to manage medical, medication, and financial needs.
- Assist with the identification of social activities and community events
- Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
- Assist with goal setting and reporting on progress on goals.
Qualifications
Do you have what it takes to help others in your community to ascend to new heights?
- High School Diploma or equivalent and valid state-issued driver’s license and proof of current insurance required.
- Related experience helping others is preferred, but training is provided.
- Obtain and maintain DSP/CDS, CPR/FA, Behavior Intervention Training, CRMA, and other training
mandated by Agency policies and State regulations.
