Now, since we are an outpatient behavioral health agency, we do require our team to obtain or currently possess an Arizona State Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, 5 Year Certified Clean MVD Report, and TB Test. Reimbursable by company or we have resources for you to obtain.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Direct Service Manager, a Direct Care Provider is responsible to provide support, guidance, and direction, re-direction to the member attending Community or Center Based. Direct Care Providers provide MIKID licensable services to the primary caregiver while supporting the emotional, physical and mental well-being of the member and his/her family. Direct care services may be provided in the child’s home, a licensed facility or in the community.
Requirements:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Must be age 21 or over. (Medical licensing regulation)
- One year experience in behavioral health or childcare.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience in the behavioral health field is preferred.
- Ability to write and speak effectively.
- Must be able to be work in both indoor/outdoor working conditions.
- Bi-lingual a plus.
- Preference will be given to person who has a family member with behavioral health issues or a person who has participated in a significant way in the life of a person with behavioral health issues.
- CPR/1st Aid Certified
- Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance card.
- Must have valid Arizona Driver's License, business use vehicle insurance and vehicle registration.
- Must complete all necessary paperwork and mandatory training prior providing services.
