Digital Solutions Specialist is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, fun, and challenging environment and who also enjoys travel and hands-on customer support. The Digital Operations Coordinator is home-based, traveling to customer locations to install, train, support, maintain, and troubleshoot point-of-sale (POS), customer-facing kiosks, mobile and kitchen display systems, PC/Server equipment, network hardware, and other front-of-house technology solutions.
An ideal candidate is a high-energy person with prior retail and hands-on experience installing and supporting enterprise retail POS systems.
The role will require up to 75% travel.
Responsibilities:

• Perform POS, kiosk, kitchen/customer displays, and technology installation on location for retail operations
• Gather site requirements pertaining to installation preparedness
• Deliver regular status updates to project stakeholders
• Inventory, assemble, place, and connect system hardware; load applications and perform testing to verify functionality; troubleshoot and remedy any issues
• Work with Compass Digital or 3rd party vendors and other team members to ensure any interfaces are functioning properly
• Conduct front-of-house training sessions for operations staff, including cashiers and managers
• Provide go-live support and obtain final sign-off from the onsite team
• Provide systems support to operations teams, as needed
• Deliver superior, courteous, professional service at all times

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience supporting/installing POS, kiosks, and displays, in the restaurant/hospitality business is preferred Core skills such as network, database, and scripting
• Ability to work independently without close supervision
• Ability to analyze issues and problems and know and follow escalation plan
• Well organized, able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
• Ability to follow standard procedures and work with 3rd party vendors
• Great communication skills, great work ethic; will go above and beyond to exceed client expectations
• Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Location Requirements:

• Remote Work Location - must live in the U.S. near a Major Airport
• The position may require up to 75% travel to operating sites
