Job Description


Position Overview:

Tradebe is looking for a Passionate and creative Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to reinforce its brand awareness and help bring life to the Tradebe story, ''Sustainability at Work", and its ESG Program.


You are a great fit for this role if you are an avid content creator and generator of ideas, with experience developing communication assets and campaigns, both online and offline, in the B2B industry.

The role is preferably based out of our Chicago, IL office. This person would be required to go into the office at least 3 days a week. Minimum of 25% of travel time is expected.


Key job responsibilities

  • Create and manage content for the company website, blog and social media channels (LinkedIn), including copywriting and image/video editing
  • Create other digital assets such as banners, videos or infographics
  • Plan and keep an annual content calendar up-to-date, with the intent of developing assets 30-days in advance and staying ahead of changes
  • Develop e-mail marketing campaigns, including copywriting and image/video editing when needed, targeting both existing customers and prospects
  • Create and manage online ad campaigns (LinkedIn, Google Search, Google Display, others), including targeting, budgeting, executing and monitoring
  • Write up Press Releases and coordinate their online distribution, either direct or through a PR agency
  • Support the creation of offline resources including leaflets, brochures, booths or other visual materials
  • Ensure the compliance of all delivered materials with the Tradebe brand guidelines, tone of voice and identity
  • Collaborate with other departments internally to gather technical insights and develop relevant content as needed
  • Work together with marketing and communications colleagues in other countries or in the global team for global projects
  • Coordinate with external partners and agencies: design or media agencies, printers…
  • Support the delivery of KPI reporting to provide qualitative/quantitative evidence of impact, as well as continuous assessment of campaigns for improvement
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Director of Marketing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or other related field of study
  • 3 to 5 of relevant professional experience in the B2B industry, experience within environmental, health, safety or sustainability sectors will be a plus
  • Excellent copywriting skills for both branded content and sales-oriented messaging
  • Intermediate to advanced image/video editing skills and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite package or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in managing web/blogs with SEO optimization, social media content planning and execution, e-mail marketing campaigns and online ads
  • Previous experience and proficiency with Google Ads platform, Google Analytics and Tag Manager, CRM and e-mail marketing tools (HubSpot is a plus), website CMS (Drupal is a plus), and LinkedIn. Online PR distribution platforms will be a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and multitask
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a “can-do/will-do” attitude
  • A keen eye for detail and design, with a creative personality
  • An appetite for continuous development and learning new things, either within the digital field or the environmental and sustainability world
  • A passion for the environment, sustainability and healthy habits as a whole.
