Reporting directly to the Director of Health Care Initiatives this person will have the opportunity to grow and manage the Chamber's Wellness Works platform. Wellness Works is an initiative created in partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to promote workplace wellness strategies to Southeast Michigan businesses. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

The person in this role will be passionate about promoting workplace wellness strategies and will possess a personable demeanor. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for increasing digital engagement and enhancing the user experience across the Wellness Works platform. In this role you will be responsible for all digital aspects of this initiative, and you will work in collaboration with the Chamber's marketing, design, and event teams. You will spend your time with maintenance and developing the website, you will create and manage content and outreach campaigns.

In this role you will maintain day-to-day communications with program affiliates and platform users and will ensure there is consistent branding and messaging across all affiliate communications. You will support the program Director in the platform's growth strategy by measuring the effectiveness of digital activities and engagement. You will interpret data and draw conclusions to improve strategy and track the program's success.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

• 2+ years of relevant experience working with web content management systems and email marketing programs. Experience in partnership engagement and influencing decision makers is also desired.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required (Experience in lieu of education will also be considered.)
• Ability to travel locally
• Web development and coding experience a plus
• Health care marketing experience a plus

Digital and social strategy experience will be important in this role. Are you a creative thinker with strong writing skills? WORK SCHEDULE FOR A DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

This position is full-time and typically works Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. The person in this role may need to travel throughout Southeastern Michigan. There are also opportunities to work from home.
