BacklotCars is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager that will be responsible for developing and leading the day to day function of BacklotCars SMS, push, and in-app marketing messages to our mobile users. We are looking for a team player who is creative, analytical, and curious.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Mass Comms, the Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate with partners and team members across departments to ensure SMS and push messages are planned, created, and executed efficiently. An ideal candidate is driven by leveraging data and making it actionable. You have experience setting a strategy and executing, reporting back on what works and what needs to change to drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day to day function of SMS, push, in-app programs.

Own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimization of in-app notification campaigns as well as SMS marketing messaging.

Develop and document processes, including evaluation and prioritization of platforms used.

Develop campaign metrics and success criteria.

Manage and document the development and ongoing optimization of customer segments, working with other internal stakeholders to target relevant messages to those segments using SMS and push marketing campaigns.

Create & manage promotional push/SMS campaign calendar to ensure that campaigns are planned to ensure maximum customer interaction.

Manage marketing lists and coordinate with SMS and push campaigns including content development, list management, launching campaigns, and tracking, measuring and reporting out on performance

Manage ongoing optimization of programs by designing and implementing comprehensive, measurable A/B and multivariate testing plans
** Must be willing to travel up to 15%.
The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:

5+ years of SMS/push marketing experience in relevant industry, executing marketing campaigns

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

Proven track record of sending push notifications while maintaining a low uninstall rate

Experience in segmentation, list management, and push/SMS best practices

Experience using Twilio SMS Software preferred (but not required)

Experience with setting up tracking, reporting and monitoring key performance

Careful attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines and execution
