Jostens is looking for a Digital Imaging Press Supervisor!

Our Digital Imaging Supervisor directs and coordinates assigned departmental operations in Digital Press and Finishing aspects of manufacturing. His or her responsibilities include meeting plant objectives for quality, quantity, cost and delivery. The individual oversees the area’s schedule, quality control, and allocation of materials and equipment. He/she is responsible for the planning and implementation of the safety program for the area, and is responsible for the training of employees in his/her area to include Hazardous Safety Data Sheets to include emergency spill response procedures, if appropriate. The Supervisor sets area production and performance goals, organizes work, and maintains a productive and motivational climate.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, and/or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience as a supervisor in a production/manufacturing area.
• Management experience in a team-based environment.
• Has demonstrated the ability to lead, train and develop people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Cross-functional communication experience.
• Strong safety background and experience developing and executing safety programs.
• Has served as an effective role model, either internally or externally.
• Must be able to work night shift: 9pm-5am Mon-Fri.

Preferred:

• Experience in “made to order” business/manufacturing.
• Digital Press supervisory experience (Yearbook and/or Commercial Printing).
• Basic knowledge of 5S methodologies and Lean Manufacturing.
