Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Sewickley Campus - is immediately hiring a Full Time Day and Evening Dietary Supervisor in Kitchen Production for our Health Care Center.

What You'll Do:
As a Dietary Supervisor, you will carry out our Mission of Love by supervising and coordinating the activities of the Sturgeon Health Care Center Dining Rooms. Lead performance improvement projects and provide education and coaching in order to build needed skills in others to lead PIP's. Identify opportunities for improvement through analysis of data, observation of operations, and consultation with leadership and staff.
Our Dietary Supervisor is responsible for the following:
- Scheduling for NC kitchens and any changes to staffing.
- Supervises NC staff and assists with supervision of all dietary staff.
- Prepares and completes all PACs for Sturgeon Health Care Center and Starpoints Production Kitchen
- Interviews and orients new NH staff and conducts weekly communication meeting for staff.
- Participate in cycle menu design.
- Attend production meetings and distribute appropriate information.
- Executes dietary orders of the Dietitian, process diet changes and new diets for residents.
- Conducts kitchen audit. Submit QI reports to Dietitian.
- Manage stock to include weekly audits and EOM inventory.
- Continues personal and professional growth through current literature, membership in professional organizations and attendance at workshops.
- Assures foods are proportioned, presented & assembled properly for NH. Completes meal rounds, test trays and spot checks daily in the dining room for NH.
- Greets all new residents gather information on their food likes and dislikes.
- Updates the NH diet roster and allergy daily as needed.
- Contact person for Special Functions.
- Attends resident council meetings for NH and responds to resident's concerns.
What You Have:
- A high school or college graduate or equivalent thereof.
- Completion of an approved training program to attain proficiency in developing and maintaining high quality of dining services or minimum three years supervisory experience in managing an upscale dining environment.
- Good written and oral communication and proficient with computer applications.
- CPR certification required (prior to or upon employment)
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- CDM or DTR required
