Mercy Multiplied exists to provide opportunities for all to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. Mercy’s residential counseling program is voluntary, biblically-based, and helps young women ages 13–32 break free from life-controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, and sex trafficking. These residential services are offered free-of-charge. In September of 2020, Mercy Multiplied launched its first Mercy Multiplied Center for Wellness and Counseling in Monroe/West Monroe, LA offering free-of-charge outpatient counseling to that community. Our Outreach Services train and resource men and women to effectively support and minister to those who are hurting and struggling through workshops, videos, podcasts, discipleship teaching, and other practical resources.

We have an immediate opening for a part-time Development Coordinator at our corporate office located in Nashville, Tennessee.
Hours: 12 - 20 hrs per week

To be successful in this role, one must have the following: *

• Thorough understanding of, and dedication to, the vision of Mercy Multiplied, along with demonstrated Christian work ethics
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience in non-profit fundraising and communications preferred
• Must have a high school diploma or pass a general education development exam (GED)
• Ability to effectively communicate the mission and vision of Mercy Multiplied to others
• Must be detail-oriented, well organized and self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to work well under pressure and constant deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to use sound judgment
• Must be comfortable with praying for others
• Must be comfortable fundraising and asking for money
• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English

Primary Responsibilities:

• Engaging and building upon base of donors to foster ongoing support for Mercy Multiplied.
• Welcome and integrate new donors per on-boarding process.
• Utilize P-E-O to promote champion growth and steward existing donors.
• Communicate Kingdom impact with donors for their donation utilizing donor communication talking points
• Retaining donors and minimizing attrition through active follow up and stewardship efforts to include thank you calls, praying with donors, recording, and sending Gratavids, and writing handwritten thank you notes.
• Record communication and updates in database regarding donors to include their reason for supporting Mercy, how we can be praying for them and information such as their birthdates, names of children, etc.
• Collaborate and support Senior Director, Engagement & Development Strategy and Development Team on special donor engagement projects to include helping with mailings, LYBUNT calls, signing and processing donation acknowledgements, supporting events as needed.
• Support and participate in development initiatives to include but not limited to planned giving, Giving Tuesday, calling current donors to convert them to monthly giving, Thank-a-thons, and participating in events
