Shift: 12pm CST- 4pm CST - Onsite
5pm CST - 9pm CST - Remote

We are looking for technically skilled candidates with good problem-solving abilities for this
position. The duties of a technician including being the main reference point for all IT related
queries at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner and ensuring the
optimal running of all systems, networks, printers, etc., among other duties.
The Technician is also expected to display good interpersonal skills, as they will interact
daily with colleagues from various departments and executive levels.
This position is full time 1099 and will be required to work on-site in Maywood, IL
Technician Responsibilities:
 Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting
 Installing and configuring both hardware and software components to ensure
usability
 Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
 Ensuring electrical standards are met
 Repairing or replacing damaged hardware to ensure end-user productivity
 Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers
 Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security protocols are met at
the user level
 Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware
 Setting up wireless networks, printers, copiers, cabling workstations, etc.
 Establishing solid relationships with all departments and colleagues
 Conducting daily backup operations
 Managing and maintaining all technical documentation
Position Requirements:
 Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, and/OR equivalent job-
related experience
 2+ years of experience working in computer networks and system maintenance
 CompTIA and/or A+ accreditation is a plus
 Strong technical documentation skills
 Proficient in database programming and software installation
 Project management experience is a plus
 Excellent written and verbal skills
 Good interpersonal skills
 Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.
 Highly self-motivated and directed.
 Keen attention to detail.
 Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
 Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Title: Desktop Support TechnicianRATE: $50K/Annum on W2

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
