Desktop Support Tech Job at Pomeroy
Pomeroy is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in the Erie, PA area!
In this role, you will provide remote IT support, as well as travel to client locations within the Erie area, providing on-site support with IT hardware/software troubleshooting and repairs.
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong IT troubleshooting skills, PC replacement knowledge, break/fix experience with laptops/desktops/printers, and a strong customer focus.

Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years IT help desk/desktop support experience or Associates degree in Information Technology strongly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to handle up to 50 client calls a day on a variety of topics and complexity levels
- Proficient in all of Microsoft's currently supported Operating Systems
- Proficient in messaging systems such as Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes
- Willingness to work flexible hours with occasional evening and weekend hours
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Must have access to a reliable form of transportation, a valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Vaccination against Covid 19 is required
