Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to monitor the Racquet Club Pro Shop retail sales, verify amenity cards, take reservations and to perform general duties as required to meet or exceed members? and guests? expectations. He or she must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational and customer services skills. The position is full time, year around and includes weekends and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take court reservations; register players; assign court.
- Actively listen and appropriately respond to member?s inquiries and complaints, always remaining composed and courteous showing genuine empathy and sincerity.
- Verify amenity cards for all members and guests.
- Collect payment for court use, tennis lessons and merchandise.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Pro Shop daily.
- Arrange and fold retail merchandise in an attractive display.
- Answer phones and take messages in a polite and courteous manner, following up in a timely fashion.
- Notify the corresponding department when problems arise during events.
- Open and close the Racquet Club facility and prepares all necessary reports.
- Complete various administrative and other duties as assigned or as necessary.
- Follow established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and operational processes.
- Communicate and cooperate with all levels of management and staff, vendors, and owners in a professional, courteous manner with a team-work attitude.
- Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with resort, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards
