Location
Lake Pointe Family Dentistry proudly serves the South Charlotte, North Carolina community. We are close to Uptown Charlotte and the South Park area. The U.S. National Whitewater Center that offers whitewater rafting; trails for hiking, running and biking; ropes courses is only 10 miles away. Due to the closeness to Uptown, a sports enthusiast will enjoy catching a Hornets, Panthers, or Knights game. We are located close to the new City Park area and Tyvola Farmer’s Market!

Practice Overview
At Lake Pointe Family Dentistry, we are dedicated to bringing remarkable service to those who visit our practice. Our practice’s main objective is to provide outstanding patient care and quality dentistry. Our staff is wholeheartedly devoted to serving all of our patients’ dental needs and making them feel as comfortable as possible. We firmly believe that our general dentistry practice functions like a family. We believe in celebrating the milestones, and collaborating with each other to get to the finish line!

What You’ll Be Working On
* Provide exceptional customer service and build trust with patients of all ages
* Prepare treatment rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilizing instruments, restocking supplies
* Educate patients on the importance of preventative care, the disease process and the role of bacteria; provide appropriate instruction on home care
* Conduct teeth cleaning and inspect conditions of oral cavity, recording treatment information in the patient’s chart
* Educate patients on oral health and the importance of preventative care
* Schedule patient’s next treatment appointment
* Assists Dentists with determining treatments for periodontal disease

Qualifications
* Degree in Dental Hygiene is required
* Available to work Tuesday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm
* Minimum of 1 year experience required but willing to hire new graduates
* Dentrix experience preferred
* Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for providing great customer service
* Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Team player with the ability to work independently on goals and objectives
* Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
