Job Summary
Dental Assistant wanted for busy dental office in Eau Claire. Seeking the right person to be our newest Dental Assistant. A passion and excitement for dental assisting a must! Experience in a dental setting required. Experience with intra oral scanner a plus! Job Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Greets, seats and dismisses patients
- Passes and receives dental instruments and materials
- Rinses and suctions the oral cavity
- Performs prophylactic coronal polishing
- Makes conventional and digital radiographs
- Fabricates mouth guards, matrices, whitening trays,
- Cleans, sterilizes dental instruments
- Entering patient charges into computer and schedule appointments
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Experience with intra-oral scanner a plus
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing is a plus
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma; Dental Assisting Diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
