Your areas of responsibility:

This individual will be responsible for successfully leading and refining demand forecast per commercial segment. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited too:

  • Pre-plan analysis and statistical forecasting used to create/measure plan.
  • Provide strong involvement and support of the sales and operations planning (S&OP) activities, meetings and communication. Ensuring the proper S&OP process flow of information and timelines are being met.
  • Track/Measure forecast vs actual performance; successfully analyze deviations and lead corrective action
  • Capable of analyzing and refining the demand work flow process that allows FUCHS to successfully deliver product that meet customer expectations.
  • Developing solid relationship and communication skills with commercial, customers, team members and functional colleagues.
  • Primary contact for issues related to sales forecast (demand plan)
  • Report out and monitor for opportunities to improve monthly key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, range of inventory coverage, etc.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain management, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or another related supply chain field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with demand forecast plan/analysis; supply chain, accounting, sales perspective
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel with excellent quantitative and data analysis skills.
  • ERP planning experience required, SAP preferred
  • Ability to travel occasionally (approximately 5%).
