Mobile Package Systems Inc is a FedEx Ground contractor. We are looking for Full-Time, Part-Time, and seasonal positions for qualified, dependable Delivery Drivers to work out of the Stratford terminal.

You will be delivering packages and providing excellent service to FedEx customers in the following service areas:Thomaston, Watertown, Oakville, Woodbury, Roxbury, Bridgewater, Washington, Washington Depot, and Bethlehem.

Full-Time hours are Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday, 40+ hours per week.

Part-Time hours available include Saturdays, Sundays plus filling in during the week or covering volume spikes.

As a Delivery Driver, your day will start off at the Stratford terminal by loading your delivery vehicle or reorganizing your pre-loaded vehicle. You will deliver individual or multiple packages to customers, using a city map, route optimization app and a FedEx scanner, communicating with management regularly throughout the day, driving safely at all times, all while providing top-notch customer service.

This is a FAST-PACED job and extremely customer oriented. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-year of prior experience as a commercial driver, driving a 12 ft box truck or larger, although candidates with other delivery experience (ex. furniture, parts, parcels, etc.) will also be considered and are welcome to apply. Recent driving/delivery experience during the past 3 years is preferred. Must be able to work independently with little direction but must be a team player. Must be detail-oriented with excellent organization skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Excellent customer service & communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work with an I-pad and learn new technology quickly is also crucial to your success as a Driver. Other requirements include a clean driving and criminal record. A physical and drug test will be provided by Concentra and you will be issued a DOT card if you don’t have a current one.
