The Dealership Office Manager is responsible for processing and generating financial data for all dealership departments, which together represent the accurate financial condition of the business. A Dealership Office Manager is a valued partner to the General Manager and dealership management team. In this role, they will assist in identifying opportunities for improvement through financial metrics as well as develop and maintain accounting processes to support operational excellence. This role is located in the dealership and includes responsibility for the management of administrative staff and functions within the dealership. This position is supported by the consolidated accounting office, including functions such as cash management, centralized payroll, benefits, and HR.

Dealership Office Manager Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of high-volume dealership accounting experience and 1-2 years minimum of managing a team and pulling a financial statement. Strong knowledge of all accounting desks in the dealership, as well as experience implementing and overseeing processes to ensure they are followed, is key in this busy store. Must have strong accounting knowledge and analytical ability, excellent communication and organization skills, and strong attention to detail. Must have a valid driver’s license. Preference is given to applicants who have handled the above responsibilities in a new vehicle dealership and have worked with CDK.

Dealership Office Manager Education Requirements

A high school diploma is required. College accounting coursework preferred.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
