In this role, you will focus on creating the pipeline and platform that teams use to power HPE Storage’s next generation SaaS offering. You will also interface with Central DevOps, Engineering IT, and Corporate IT teams on a daily basis as a representative of the Storage Networking Group.

You’ll use Jenkins and Spinnaker to deploy Docker Containers and Kubernetes Pods running a fleet of micro-services in AWS (both private and public hybrid clouds). You’ll focus on creating automation for CI/CD and make running this platform as seamless and as reliable as possible. This will include refining and further building out the existing monitoring and logging infrastructure.

• How to make your mark:
• Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
• Work closely with business analysts, data modelers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design data integration solutions
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure data quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with ETL workflows and data integration processes
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation and processing
• Work with SQL Server database systems to design and implement data models, queries and stored procedures
• Perform SQL Server database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with other developers to integrate ETL workflows with Python scripts and SQL Server database systems for application integration
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in ETL, Python, SQL Server, and database development and integration

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years minimum experience with Data Integrations and Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in developing ETL workflows using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience with Python development and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy)
• At least 5 years of experience with SQL Server database development and integration, including data modeling, SQL, and stored procedures
• Must have experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, etc.) for application integration

Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
