Position: Data Feed Specialist
Location: Houston, TX(Onsite)
Duration : Contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generating product data feeds, including optimizing, matching, modifying, sorting, and filtering product data into usable segments
- Ensuring product data is accurate, up-to-date
- Routinely auditing product data feeds; determining opportunities to improve inbound source and outbound delivery connections/performance
- Writing SQL queries or executing API requests to return product attributes for data manipulation and transformation
- Establishing parent/child relationships between related products and using hybrid or shared identifiers to track
- Restructure and manipulate product data feeds to meet criteria/requirements
- Scheduling product data feed imports via S/FTP or API endpoint connections
- Configuring and mapping product attributes from XML or JSON formats
- Scheduling product data feed exports or extracting data
- Troubleshooting and resolving feed errors and warnings
Experience Sought:
- Experience managing e-commerce product data feeds in platforms such as Feedonomics, or Productsup
- Comprehensive understanding of the relationship between e-commerce product data feeds
- Knowledge of JSON and XML languages, RESTful API requests, and API responses in those formats, is preferred
- Experience with Bazaarvoice or another Ratings & Reviews platform is a plus
Other Skills Sought:
- Strong analytical, problem identification + solving skills, including ability to clearly communicate root cause and resolution of problems to business stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in fast-paced team environment is a must
