Data Engineer (Healthcare) Job at Elite Workforce, LLC
Responsibilities:
- Work across our full modern BI stack - infrastructure (AWS), database (Snowflake, Postgres), services/modeling (DBT, SQL, LookML)
- Design and build elegant data structures in support of existing reporting tools and custom visualization platforms
- Navigate new data sets frequently and model data efficiently and effectively
- Translate complex business requirements into generic and highly scalable technical solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in one or more Software Development languages and frameworks including but not limited to: Python, PHP, SQL, LookML
- Proficiency with AWS capabilities including RDS (MySql), DynamoDB, Redshift, S3, SNS, EC2 and Lambda
- Understanding of structured data sets, data pipelines, ETL tools, data reduction, transformation and aggregation techniques. Knowledge of tools such as FiveTran or DBT
- Familiarity with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, including planning, object and system design, development, automated testing, deployment via CI/CD tools, logging, and monitoring.
- Proficient experience writing advanced SQL queries and performance tuning existing queries
- Solid experience modeling dirty and often unstructured data from a variety of sources
- Experience in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
