Position Summary

We are looking for an data engineer who enjoys all facets of working with large sets of data gathered from both on premise and cloud systems. You will help shape the future of LRS by aiding in reporting, validation, and optimizing of current systems as well as integrating and automating new best of breed products to fill in gaps in services.

Responsibilities

• Gather and process data from varying sources to support existing and new business operations
• Work with stakeholders to create and deliver automated reports, on demand reports, and business unit dashboards
• Identify system inconsistences and work with operations to resolve and standardize systems usage through automation and best practices
• Other tasks as assigned by senior staff

Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft data tools including SSIS, SSMS, SSRS, Power BI, Power Automate and T-SQL
• Extensive professional experience processing/ingesting data via REST/Soap API using Python and/or PowerShell
• Ability to understand and author complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Knowledge of ETL and data cleansing processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• High level of commitment to customer service and teamwork
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to think logically and to resolve problems
