Data Coordinator Job at New Jersey Association on Correction
The role of the Data Coordinator is to manage NJAC’s numerous data systems and networks.
Duties include: organizing, storing, and analyzing company data as professionally and effectively as possible, while also safeguarding NJAC’s security and confidentiality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures. You will also be tech-savvy and possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordination:
· Provide technical assistance to stakeholders in implementing of existing systems, including ensuring adequate user and administrator training, SOPs for data collection, data entry and quality control.
· Design, develop, and modify data management infrastructure to expedite data analysis and reporting.
· Implement policies and guidelines for data management.
· Develop standard operating procedures for data handling and archiving.
· Maintain data management plans and operating instructions for department programs.
· Provide technical oversight for integrating new technology or new initiatives into data standards and structures.
· Ensure the integrity, confidentiality and security of all datasets.
· Train stakeholders on the use of systems.
Data Management, Quality Assurance and Analysis:
· Ensure that system are in place for data collection and storage.
· Responsible for managing, updating and maintaining all data systems.
· Assist in interpreting data and preparing data analysis reports.
· Continuous testing of systems for improvements.
· Conduct periodic site visits and liaise on a regular basis with program managers and directors.
· Implement quality control process to maintain compliance.
· Acquire adequate knowledge on agency software databases that are required for development responsibilities, such as those relevant to fundraising and grant reporting (Network for Good, Empower, HMIS, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
