Data Analyst in Human Resources Job at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC
This position may be eligible for varying levels of telework. Amount of telework, if any, will be determined by job scope, candidate location, ability to work independently, and other factors related to the position.
The HR Data Analyst will work, under general supervision, within the Talent Acquisition and HR Data & Analytics organization while also interfacing with and providing support to a variety of different departments including, but is not limited to other HR departments, IT, Finance, and senior leadership.
The HR Data Analyst role includes, but is not limited to:
Assist in developing HR programs and special projects that empower individuals to reach their full potential in support of the SRS mission.

Basic Education Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential
Other Required Qualifications
Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance, if required.
Preferred Qualifications
College degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Math, or Business is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) or Oracle Business Intelligence (Oracle BI) software is preferred.
Knowledge of or experience with analyzing large data sets.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.

The HR Data Analyst role includes, but is not limited to:
- Assisting in the development and dissemination of SRNS employee metrics.
- Supporting recruiting processes with data and statistics for trends.
- Compiling HR data and metrics from the human resource information system, applicant tracking system, and exit interviews.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the human capital dashboard.
- Identifying and proposing improvements/automation in daily activities.
- Assisting with compiling reports, tracking trends and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to present to senior leadership.
- Participating in special projects.
- Preparing ad hoc reports.
- Meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
- Recognizing and suggesting benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Creating meaningful data visualizations using Oracle Analytical Server (OAS).
- Engaging in safety and security meetings and workshops.
- Performing all analytical duties while exhibiting excellent communication and project management skills. Multitasking, organization, reliability, and independent judgement are all requirements to perform this role.
- Reading, editing, and writing comprehensive queries using Structured Query Language (SQL), analyze large datasets, and create useful data visualizations.
Assist in developing HR programs and special projects that empower individuals to reach their full potential in support of the SRS mission.
