General Description
Responsible of analyzing business results and processes. Tasks considers data and quantitative analysis, data extraction, data integration from different sources, data mining, data interpretation, research, dashboards, reports, and database management. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insights and insights into conclusions for business decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Dashboards development that helps to translate data insights into strategic direction through visualizations.
- Develop automated procedures with the Credit Cards data.
- Ad Hoc reports and analysis to support business decisions and strategies.
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends, correlations and patterns from different types of data sets.
- Research and analysis through data mining methodologies gathering information from different sources.
- Communicate key insights and findings to Management and internal clients by interpreting data analysis results.
- Translate data and analytical concepts in an adequate business language.
- Update and analyze created reports related to business performance.
- Handle and integrate complex databases to provide concise data solutions.
- Data models development.
- Perform validation exercises to ensure data quality.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Establish good relations with internal customers.
- Complete audit and compliance requests as needed.
- Processes documentation.
- Data Governance support including data dictionaries creation considering tables and fields definition.
- Manages projects as assigned.
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better customer value.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Administration. Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience
At least three (3) years of experience in an analytical environment including dashboards development, process automation, data mining, data extraction and reporting. Consumer banking products experience preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Flexibility to work non-business hours, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays when needed.
- Proficiency in the use of the following applications or languages: SQL Server, Oracle, Power BI, Power Query and Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Power Point and Word).
