Amyx is seeking to hire a Cybersecurity Boundary Defense Team Lead to upport our DOD USTRANSCOM / Cyber Operations Forces (COF) contract at Scott AFB, IL. This position provides technical and administrative supervision and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the Cybersecurity Boundary Defense and Security Solution Administration Support Tasks, supervise ongoing efforts, and manage contract performance.
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite support at Scott AFB from 0730 to 1630 local time Monday through Friday, and afterhours and weekend support as required to support incident response and exercise activities with a 1 hour response time to begin work. Activities include:
- Support USTRANSCOM defensive cyber operations and initiatives
- Liaison between USTRANSCOM Component Head entities, CSSP Subscribers, and cyber mission partners (e.g. Cyber Protection Teams, USCYBERCOM, JFHQ DODIN, DISA, peer CSSPs, etc.)
- Manage day-to-day proxy and firewall administration activities and deliverables
- Provide technical and strategic support of boundary systems and services

Required Qualifications:
The minimum skills and experience/working knowledge required are as follows:
- Technical Level III certification per DoD 8570.01-M
- Have a minimum of seven (7) years of IA/cyber security experience, with at least four (4) of those involving application of DoD policy, direction, and guidance to customer environments NIST and DoD security policies, directives, and guidelines
- Network architecture and design (e.g., security stack and integration with office automation products and services to include production, test, development, and demilitarized zone (DMZ) enclaves).
- Border device security (e.g., firewall, HTTP Proxy, WAF, VLANs, IP Subnetting, Ports and protocols)

Current Microsoft server and workstation operating system (OS) security configurations- Current Red Hat Linux Enterprise OS security configurations
- Current Unix OS security configurations
- Current Microsoft server security
- Virtualization functionality and security
- Encryption standards
- Technical writing – technical documents and user training materials
