Empower AI: As an Cyber Threat Analyst II, you will provide services in support of the United States (U.S.) Army Cyber Command’s (ARCYBER), supporting Multi-Domain Task Force - Pacific (MDTF-Pacific). Cloud and data engineer for a specialized team of highly skilled engineers and data scientists to collect, ingest, process, analyze, visualize, and share data in support the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). The team will be responsible for the assembly of infrastructure within a cloud environment that is scalable, highly available, and adaptable with multiple environments that take advantage of managed services in the cloud.
Requires expertise:
- Provide cybersecurity analysis and support of ARCYBER for the Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC)
- Support Cyber Threat intelligence queries of the system and provide insight on behavior of malicious cyber activity and effects on DODIN
- Conduct analysis of data as prioritized by JFHQ-DODIN Priority Intelligence Requirements and associated Essential Elements of Information
- Provide enriched intelligence reporting to support JMOC operations
- Develop, coordinate and brief finalized fused intelligence products to JMOC leaders and external cyber audiences, and the broader Intelligence Community (IC)
- Contributes to developing analytical threat models and provides advice to threat studies personnel
- Supports teams providing other technical services such as computer software system design/development, installation and integration planning, testing, and support of a wide-range of systems that support intelligence functions
- Conducts project briefings to assess study progress and to ensure consistency in meeting objectives. Prepares, submits, and presents reports and issue papers.
- Experience performing threat analyses and developing threat models
- Conducted research and analysis of intelligence and related data support of threat studies
- Experience providing advice, guidance and direction to threat studies team
- Possesses detailed knowledge of advanced threat analysis technology in such areas as telecommunications, IT, and cyber warfare
Work location: Fort Meade, MD, JMOC
Work schedule: Monday-Friday, from 0800 – 1700 with ability to surge support as required
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Clearance: Must hold an Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly and able to meet NSA security standards (TS/SCI with CI Poly and MEAD). interim work location is Building 310 at Fort Meade
- IA Certification: DoDI 8570.01 IAT II (One of the following or higher (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP))
- Education/experience: Requires 10 to 15 years with BS/BA
