Markon Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support our Intelligence customer. Some duties may include:
- Analyze system/network information and develop defense measures to eliminate or reduce the effect of cybersecurity threats
- Propose fixes to identified system weaknesses
- Collaborate with other security groups to create recommendations for architectural mitigations, data collection and analytics, and future cyber defense or security compliance capabilities
- Document cybersecurity activities for collaboration with mission partners
- Support collaborative exchanges on cybersecurity topics
- Perform cybersecurity testing of existing security capabilities
- Participate in the customer's daily security stand-up meeting
Job Requirements:
- TS/SCI FSP
- A minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience (i.e., cyber threat hunting, penetration testing, cyber incident response) or a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience with Bachelor's or Master's degrees
- Knowledge of Splunk and/or Powershell preferred
- Security Operations Center (SOC) experience
- Engineering experience to perform cybersecurity testing when needed
- Ability to effectively communicate findings at all levels through written and verbal methods
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux security concepts
- Knowledge of networking and general cybersecurity concepts
