E Plus Graphics & Promotions, a small business, seeks a driven, highly enthusiastic, extremely detail-oriented individual for our Customer Service Specialist position. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with an interest and experience in ad sales, publications, printing and graphic design to work directly with the public and be involved with the entire ad sale-design-to-print process. The Customer Support Specialist will have responsibilities and accountability defined in the following job description as specified and updated from time to time by management.
The person will be responsible to work directly with customers as well as support sales in managing the workflow of several jobs at the same time. An extremely strong attendance record is a critical requirement of this position.
NOTE:
Candidate must have experience in the Printing, Graphic Design, Promotional Products, Apparel, and/or Signs Industry: 2 years (Required)
Education: College Degree is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contributing your talent to the E Plus/Catoctin Banner Team in a manner that advances company revenue goals
- Maintaining clear communication with E Plus Team members regarding duties and priorities
- Process accurate details on various graphics and printing job orders from customers including detailed print specifications, proof communications, final delivery details, etc.
- Manage outside vendors including sourcing, estimating and purchasing
- Traffic jobs through production including proofing artwork, entering job purchase orders and preparing final invoices
- Work closely with customers and provide service estimates in a timely manner
- Work with your E Plus Team to ensure the final product is not only correct but also meets the expectations and goals of the client
- Communicate directly, as needed, with clients to answer questions and/or resolve issues
- Work takes place in a busy retail space in Emmitsburg, MD, some remote work, some outside sales appointments.

- Ability to learn quickly, thrive and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Applicant must have strong math, organizational and planning skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to work well independently as well as with co-workers and clients
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Design Suite and PDF software
EXPERIENCE:
- Customer service – In-person, phone, and email contact
- Graphics experience including file preparation for various print techniques
- Dealing with suppliers and vendors
- Quoting of basic jobs
- Promotional products and creative packaging
- Warehousing, mailing, distribution
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent "people skills"
- A level of strength and comfort with computers and related technology
- Proficient in spelling, proofreading, and the use of proper grammar
- Proficient in math and units of measurement
- A high personal standard of quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team
- Ability to establish client relations, listen to client goals, and maintain community efforts
- Highly organized and be able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Eagerness to work and learn, and comfortably handle a variety of responsibilities as they arise, retaining a smooth and efficient work environment
- Meet with Clients and Vendors as needed

- Some flexible, some fixed work schedule
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
