Job Title: Customer Service Science Specialist (Life Science Team) (remote)
Location: Remote
Hours: M-F 930-6 pm, flexible
Compensation: $22-$24/hr

The Life Science Customer Care Specialist will be a key member of an interactive technical service team that acts as the front line of communications between customers and our technical service specialists. This Customer Care team is focused on providing
best-in-class customer support via telephone, email, and internet. The candidate will field basic technical inquiries on MilliporeSigma's products and navigating more advanced technical inquiries to the appropriate specialist within the organization. Our customer base includes Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies, Universities, Hospitals and Government agencies.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other Life Science discipline, 2+ years of lab experience OR 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
Experience and Skillset:
- Needs to know basic knowledge of science background to help the customers’ needs
-Must be proficient in navigating 4 of more platforms/dashboards at a time
-Company's database is trainable. Looking for strong customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams
- Experience with Oracle, Lotus, SAP, ERP systems is preferred.
- Skills needed: Strong critical thinking, problem solving ability, ability to multitask, detail oriented, able to work well on a team, self starter, reliability, well organized, excellent time management
- Phone scripts are not provided. Must be able to speak and interact with customers accordingly.
