Training is on-site in our newly remodeled space. Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm and is 100% paid. A work from home option for associates who qualify based off performance.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Assist customers via phone, email and web chat with inquiries including, but not limited to: tracing shipments, rate quotes, scheduling pickups and billing and/or invoicing questions.
• Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including, but not limited to: answering and directing phone calls and light data entry.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, with earliest shifts beginning at 5am and the last shifts ending at 8pm, Monday thru Friday. Shifts ending after 6pm are all 4-day work week schedules.
• Enjoy a casual dress code (blue jeans are OK).

What you need to succeed at YELLOW Freight:

At a minimum, you will need:

• Ability to problem solve
• Strong computer and typing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• High School Diploma

It’d be great if you also have:

• Previous Customer Service Experience
• Transportation experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
