Customer Service Associate - Rocky Point Branch Job at Dime Community Bank
Summary: The role of a Customer Service Associate (CSA) is to satisfy the needs of our customers by completing deposit and withdrawal transactions, responding to customer inquiries, issuing money orders, cash advances and cashiers’ checks. The CSA will open, close, and provide service to all banks deposit and consumer loan products to Dime customers in the branch market area.
The hourly wage minimum = $20; maximum = $29. The exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses/certifications, language necessities, and location.

Responsibilities:
- Providing account services to all Dime customers
- Expedites deposit and withdrawal transitions accurately
- Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions, counting and packaging currency and coins
- Process night deposits bags
- Provides in-depth knowledge of Dime products and services to provide appropriate solutions to customers’ financial needs
- Possesses current knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Reporting under the Bank Secrecy Act requirements related to Currency Transaction Report (CTR), Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) and Dime internal Suspicious Activity Tracking Report
- Responding to inbound Dime customer inquiries
- Supports business development efforts of the branch manager through in-branch sales, phone and direct mailing campaigns.
- Perform New Account and File Maintenance reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data for SOX 404 purposes
- Reviews, submits, processes, and closes consumer loan request
- Makes decisions within their realm of authority (i.e., overdrafts, overrides, signature guarantees) in lieu of absent managers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of retail banking experience is preferred
- Cash-handling experience preferred.
