Tri Star Energy is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Customer Service Analyst to join our innovative Commercial/Wholesale team in our Store Support Center in Nashville TN. The Customer Service Analyst is responsible for conducting credit reviews for new customers, analyzing customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improving customer retention and new business, managing billing processes, and providing exceptional customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee credit review process and liaison between customer and AR manager to ensure timely processing.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improving customer retention and new business.
    • This includes analyzing data around customer satisfaction and net promoter score from surveys.
    • Follow the performance of existing accounts to ensure volume commitments.
  • Tracking of brand rebates to ensure payment is received.
  • Completes billing processes for wet hose and fleet card LOB, including reviewing invoices and resolving billing discrepancies.
    • Complete quarterly bonuses for area managers
  • Set up customer accounts in PDI when a credit application is approved to be reviewed by the AR manager.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer accounts and transactions.
    • This includes updating customer information and maintaining a customer database.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years professional experience in customer service, credit analysis, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proficiency with mapping software such as Google Maps.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience in Retail, Fuel Services, Fuel Transport, Credit Card, or Fleet Payment Card Industries.
  • Prior Experience in Sales Support.
  • Experience working with an ERP and a CRM system such as Salesforce.
