We are growing! Chester County Fuel has an immediate opening for a full-time Customer Service/Administrative Support employee in our centrally-located Malvern office. Family owned and operated, Chester County Fuel has been servicing the heating and cooling needs of homeowners and businesses in the Chester County area for over 20 years. We are a small, but rapidly growing business. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses outstanding attention to detail, has excellent customer service skills, and has an outgoing positive attitude.
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Fielding incoming calls from an active phone system and assisting customers by determining their needs, taking care of their requests, or passing call to appropriate person in the office if unable to help
- Scheduling fuel deliveries and service appointments.
- Accounts receivables/assisting customers paying invoices.
- Setting up new customer accounts.
- Spearheading special projects, managing project from start to finish, working collaboratively with both internal staff and vendors.
- Database management including report generation.
- Customer mailings.
- Social Media postings.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Superior interpersonal and customer service ability with positive encouraging attitude.
- Problem-solving and flexible with the ability to balance multiple tasks.
- Ability to thoroughly field customer phone calls in rapid succession.
- Swift/accurate typing skills.
- Computer savvy, fast learner.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and drive a project.
- Willing to suggest changes to processes and procedures in order to increase efficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite of products , particularly Excel and Word.
