Customer Sales & Service Representative (CSS) Job at Shoppas Material Handling Inc
The Customer Sales & Service Representative (CSS Rep) will be responsible for growing the parts, service and rental sales volume and expand the customer base by executing business plans, including targeting prospects, as well as exceeding annual goals. Solidify the customer relationship through partnering with them on aftermarket related services - service agreements, fleet analysis and training. This position is an important member of Shoppa’s Sales Team and requires excellent customer service, great attitude, and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
Primary Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
- Sell in assigned territory- parts, service, rental and allied products
- Negotiate sales contracts directly with client/customer
- Contact existing and prospective customers to demonstrate products, services, and solicit orders
- Generate quotes, estimates, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
- Follow up with clients after delivery of equipment to resolve any disputes and provide continuous support
- Assist Accounts Receivable department with collections from customers with past due balances
- Report weekly sales volumes and update CRM database
- Any other duties assigned by company
Requirements (include, but not limited to):
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree required, or equivalent experience
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in sales required; 3-5 years’ experience in material handling industry preferred
- Ability to consider all aspects of selling including vendor relationships, profit and loss concepts, and long and short-term goals of the company
- Great interpersonal skills and a team player mentality
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Able to meet deadlines and highly detail oriented
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
