Excelsior Wellness is looking for an Environmental Aide Assistant to join our maintenance team to assist in overseeing the cleanliness of our the buildings on our campus. This role is crucial in setting the welcoming and clean environment that starts the therapeutic relationship between those we serve and our staff.

How to Qualify:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to carry and/or push equipment or supplies.
• Understand the procedures for disinfecting equipment and floors.
• Ability to handle potentially hazardous cleaning materials.
• Ability to perform essential job functions skillfully and safely in varying environments
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Valid Drivers license or reliable transportation required.
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Assists in cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, floors, and all areas within a room that may have come in contact with patients, such as vents, televisions, and light fixtures.
• Assists in performing other general cleaning tasks.
• Assists in ensuring that OSHA guidelines are adhered to in the performance of responsibilities; seeks guidance and instruction from supervisor.
• Ensures utilization of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for specific duties.
