What You'll Do (Job Summary)

The ideal candidate will be well-organized, have a broad knowledge of cleaning solutions in any setting but greenhouse and/or cultivation is helpful but not required. More than anything, a positive attitude is a MUST!

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Manage and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all grounds, inside and outside at all times including office and cultivation area, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Performs limited grounds maintenance such as mowing and or cleaning snow from sidewalks, also removing garage/ pick up trash
• Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
• Washes windows
• Maintain job-related confidentiality
• Assists in examining the building for safety hazards, report deficiencies to management
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing project needs in evolving situations
• Timely, accurately, and thoroughly complete required documentation and reporting using appropriate format and company guidelines
• Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
• Proper employment documentation; reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a thorough and comprehensive background check per state guidelines
• If necessary, the ability to work 7 days per week and to be flexible with schedule
• Environmental Requirements and Exposure, depending on work location
• Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift to 50 pounds at a time

EDUCATION:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
