Culinary Line Cook Job at Paradise Valley Country Club
Description:
Paradise Valley Country Club is a private country club located in the heart of Paradise Valley, Arizona. Our club offers golf, tennis, fitness, swimming, casual and fine dining to it's membership.
Our Line Cooks are responsible for:
- Preparing all vegetables, meats, fish, starches and sauces for daily production needs
- Preparation of gathering of garnishes and presentation needs
- Assisting banquet chef in preparing party foods and dishing up party dinners
- Ensuring proper storage of leftover food, keeping refrigerators supplies and clean keeping food preparation areas clean
- Backing up service line during dinner as required, assisting broiler cook and other stations as required
- Assisting all stations as needed. Preparing staff meals and replenish of stocks, dressings and any other needs as requested.
- Culinary graduate or student
- 1-2 year experience in food prep, short order or fast food environment
- Knowledge of food and food preparation
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge of health department regulations
- Must practice safety at all times
