POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for reviewing and providing direct support to Tire Centers and customers. Assisting the Tire Centers with AR account maintenance and procedures. Providing customer service support for AR account management and credit reporting issues. Provide assistance to customers and stores with online and telephone payments.

CREDIT SPECIALIST PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide assistance to the tire centers with account set up and account maintenance questions. Review and approve store requests for posting credits to an account, ensure requests are within our credit policy guidelines. Provide assistance with questions regarding account transfers and proper coding of invoices. Provide commercial credit reports to the tire centers, and occasionally retail credit reports.
• Provide telephone assistance to Les Schwab credit customers for online and telephone bill pay; and post payments for customers through our online payment solution. Provide technical support to customers needing assistance with our online payment solution. Review and address customer credit reporting disputes
• Review and respond to customer credit reporting disputes.

CREDIT SPECIALIST MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, some college preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Proficient in customer service related activities. Knowledge in Google and Microsoft Office applications is desired.
• Ability to focus on priorities and complete work accurately/on time in a rapid pace and changing environment. Ability to balance day to day workload deadlines while responding promptly to end user questions and training needs. Strong communication, oral and written skills desired. Ability to work in a stressful environment.
