Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to direct reports, including, but not limited to, hiring, training and development
  • Manage the daily operations of the Credit Operations team to ensure superior customer service commitment related to the company’s various credit card programs
  • Responsible for new customer applications, including but not limited to, setup, credit limit increases, authorized user additions, and other credit card-related transactions
  • Manage the collection of past due credit balances and disputes in a timely manner
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute strategic direction, monitor trends, and provide suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of programs
    • Ensure Maverik’s application and credit terms remain current and updated, in partnership with appropriate stakeholders
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
    • Additional responsibilities assigned

Qualifications: Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting required minimum of three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Qualifications: Experience

  • 3+ yrs. supervisory experience preferred
  • Credit Business Associate (CBA) professional certification preferred
  • Certified Credit and Risk Analyst (CCRA) professional certification preferred

Qualifications: Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
  • Willingness to voluntarily take the first steps to identify and address existing and potential obstacles, issues, and opportunities
  • A record of demonstrating judgement, technical competence and knowledge critical for the role
  • Consistency in meeting the expectations and needs of internal and external customers
